Hurt, hurt and hurt. Too much pain in this episode and i have a fear that there will be more to come.
Oh well, bracing myself for the worst.
But lets, just for a little bit, forget about the pain and suffering of our dear OTP and give some attention to the show stealer of this episode, Asli denizer. Oh man, oh man, oh man I love this woman. Serioulsy fucking love her.
First of all the stunt she pulled with bahar! aaaaah Brilliant A++++
The scene where they are discussing what to do with the company and asli gets all hyped up and starts shouting at elif as always
And then when she leaves she pushes all the dishes to the floor and the table cloth she throws that at bahar! I fucking loved bahar's expression. How shocked and horrified she is. Lately she has been annoying so much, I am glad asli threw it towards her.
I don't care if it was just a table cloth or that she did it just because bahar is elif's best friend. I was just fucking love it than someone else also hates her as much i do.
I was like yes bitch. Take that.
Asli should be really an annoying charatcter but i rather find her very entertaining. I honestly love every scene of her, her nonstop chattering, her blaming elif all the time, her sarcastic remarks, I Love all.
While my OTP made me shed a few tears, Asli's funny, erractic scenes were a great reprieve from all the sadness.
In the last scene we saw that she is being taken away by the police. I loved how she was constantly shouting at elif and saying "I HATE YOU ELIF, YOU WANT TO THROW ME OUT OF THE FAMILY! I HATE YOU"
To be quite honest Asli is the only character in the show who is not pretentious and phony.
She is what she is. She doesn't likes elif, she never leaves an opportunity to show her that. She gives her opinion fully and shamelessly, she is loud and obnoxious and I love that about her.
With asli, we atleast know who we are dealing with but bahar and Nilufer are another story.
So lets just take a moment appreciate her awesomeness.
All the evidence for the killer points out at asli but we know that she is not the one, if the killer is someone from the family then my bet is on Tanar.
Bahar and Nilufer were as usual annoying as fuck in this episode. I hate both of them so much i am not sure who will I kill first if given the opportunity.
Bahar is doing every effort to bring levent and Elif together but giiiiiiiirrrrrrrl you are just wasting your time. Elif is not interested in levent. Period. Get that under your thick skull and go find another hobby.
While bahar is evil as fuck and has her own ulterior motives i can't help but wish that, that wasn't the case. I am sad that elif does not has a single person in her life who is sincere to her. While bahar pretends to be her best friend forever we know that she is doing it for her selfish needs and when the whole truth will be revealed about her I know that elif will be devasted and even the thought of that makes me all sad.
The only person who actually understands elif is omer but yeah we know our ship is going through a rough patch right now, more on than later.
If the character of bahar would not have been like this i would have honsetly shipped their friendship so hard.
But bahar though has gone so deep in this shit of wanting the diamonds that i am sure a point will come when levent will be fed up her as well. He is already tired of playing these games and to be quite honest levent is better off without bahar. He doesn't deserves her.
Nilufer, I have so much say regarding her but i will write a seperate post about her. For now, guess its suffice to say that she needs to grow the fuck up and needs to realize who is sincere to her and who is not.
Metin on the other hand, does he really has feelings for Nilufer? In episode 9 we saw he records the sex tape and plans to use that to blackmail elif but now in this episode we saw that he breaks the CD!
UGHHHH why? why? why? I was so hoping that, that sex tape will reach Zerrin and hell will break lose in the denizer family again but this time it will be Nilufer in the hot seat but that thought seems like a distant dream now.
Why does Nilufer gets away with everything? Really really wishing that the day will come soon when all nilufer's doing will be in the open as well.
Now lets talk about our OTP shall we?
Our ship is going through a rough time right now and honestly i didn't exepected everything to be sunshine and roses either. I am loving the pace of their relationship and i am glad writers are taking time to develop their relatinship. In the end i want a romance that is real and believable not fairytailish love here.
I mean this is the couple who gives us OTP feels by just standing side by side to each other.
I don't want anything to be rushed and honestly it will not even look believable if omer starts confessing his love for elif so soon after sibel's death.
but that doesn't mean that my heart doesn't break into million pieces when i see my OTP crying.
Omer right now doesn't realizes the extent of his feelings for elif, he is too confused by everything but we know that he has fallen for her hard.
Elif on the other hand confessed her love for him by kissing him and even though he kissed her back, he later pretented that it didn't happen and now elif is hurt.
In the first scene we saw that Omer is now ready to have a talk but elif is the one who refuses now.
Omer: "Lets talk."
Elif: "Don't cross my path again, komiser."
You guys don't how much it hurt my fangirl heart when she calls him "Komiser"
waaaaaaahhhhhh
And when elif leaves after saying that, we can see the pain and hurt in omer's eyes as well.
Omer wants both him and elif to work the same way as before but he doesn't realizes how hard it is for elif to be with him when she thinks that he doesn't love her. She is just protecting her heart because she knows that she will be really hurt if she doesn't puts an end to this.
On the other hand omer doesn't want to hurt elif as well but he can't stay away from her either.
That's LOVE bro why u no understand
He doesn't realizes but unintentionally he is leading her on.
Like in the scene when he was questioning huliya and they learn that Asli one shot their father.
Learning about this elif gets all worried and omer like always comforts her.
In the same scene Elif asks omer to give them some time to talk to asli's psychiatric before taking her to the police station and omer promises her that she will. Elif is thankful to him once again and she says
"You are a good life companion."
Aaaaaaaahh and then the love music starts playing and everything is perfect for a moment in the world of our OTP
Later on when elif walks him to the door. She asks him how he figured out that Huliya was hiding something, he tells her that he can always tells when someone is lying or hiding something except for the people he loves.
Elif: "Can I ask you something? How did you know that huliya was hiding something?"
Omer: "Lets say that its a God given gift. I can always tell when people are hiding something or lying, except with those i love. My heart and eyes are always closed towards then its like curtain falls down."
Elif gets tensed for a moment because she still hasn't told omer about the money laundering she did in rome and then she gets hopeful because omer hasn't figured it out yet.
There's another scene where he says pretty sweet words to elif.
Elif: "I know many things have changed in the last few days. We have become strangers to each other... "
Omer: "Strangers? No we are not strangers. You have been in my life for such a short time, Elif. We have lived through so many things together. During this time you and I have shared the pain that most people don't experience all their lives. These things are valuable to me, I couldn't think of you as a stranger, even if wanted to. You are precious to me elif."
Elif cuts him off immediately but she can't take him saying all that.
Through all these unconscious acts omer is showing how much he cares about elif, lets see how long it takes him to finally realize that he is head over heels crazy over her.
Although i fear that when he will come to know about the money laundering, hell will break lose and their realtionship will get severely effected.
Praying to all the Gods in the universe that my OTP gets through that just fine.
There were some cute moments between our OTP. When Omer goes to the dance studio to see elif and then her sees her dancing.
I love the the way he looks at elif, you can see the love and adoration in his eyes for her.
People say that engine akyurek expresses himself through his eyes. That's so true especially for this scene.
we can see through his looks he is saying all the the things he has said never said to elif.
Just imagine what will it be like when their romance really starts. They will brun the tv screens with their magic
And later on during the same scene when Omer asks her that if she has any problem she can trust him and can confide in him and she replies to him that she can't trust herself.
I love how she goes away saying to herself that she should learn to control her tongue LMAO
Omer: "Tell me if there is any problem. You can still trust me."
Elif: "I don't trust myself"
Elif (to herself): "Stupid elif, when will you learn to hold your tongue."

The police finds more evidence against Asli and Chief Ali asks Arda, pelin and hussain to bring asli to the police station immediately. They call omer but his phone is off so they leave a message. When omer reads the message he calls Elif right away but her phone is not with her! GAAAAAH
Why don't they keep their phones with them in a critical situation like this.
So unfortunately police reaches the door and takes away asli. Asli is furious, she keeps screaming and shouting. Elif though is angry and hurt at omer.
When omer reaches Elif's house, Asli is being taken away and there are lots of media people there. When they take away asli, Elif talks with omer and says pretty harsh words to him.
Elif: "The hardest thing to earn is trust, Komiser and it is the easiest to lose. This was not just any promise to me, I told you about me. I told you what i have never told anyone, I confided in you but at the same time i confided in you, my heart broke into million pieces."
She calls him Komiser again! SHE CALLS HIM komiser again!
Omer again hurt her, though It was just an unfortunate incident and nobody is to blame really.
Hope the misunderstanding is cleared by the next episode.
One more thing i would like to say before ending this post, why has Elif taken the whole responsibilty of the house. It seems like Elif is the man of the house. Whenever anything goes wrong everyone expects elif to magically set everything right. In the last scene as well when asli was being taken away, she was screaming and shouting at elif as if elif called the police. And elif as well gets so worried everytime when something or the other goes wrong and that irritates me, she kept saying sorry to asli again and again...GIRRRRRL Its not your fault. And some people don't deserve her worrying over them, Yes i am pointing towards nilufer.
Another important thing we learned in this episode is that Sibel's mother and sister definitely knew whatever was sibel was doing. It seems that omer was the only one kept in dark. UH OH
