Mini review ~ I hear your voice

I normally do not write reviews until i am done with the show or a book that i am watching or reading but this time i had so many feels that couldn't be contained and i had to write about it otherwise i might explode.

I have been recently introduced to the wonderful world of Korean dramas and now i am so obsessed with it i can't wait to explore more!

My first drama was "The Heirs", which is amazing by the way and i will write a detailed review on it later and later on a friend's recommendation i started another one "I hear your voice" and i am loving it even more than the first one.

After i finished heirs which i loved so so much i knew i had to watch more of these wonderful K dramas and i made a long list of lee min ho's shows that i was planning to watch but i didn't wanted to watch another lee min ho show immediately after i got done with the heirs because i knew i wouldn't enjoy it and i will be comparing it with the heirs. One particular show "Boys over flowers" was recommended to me again and again. Its an immensely popular show of south Korea and its a considered a classic and also contributed to the Korean wave but like i said above i didn't want to watch another lee min show immediately and this one sharing the same plot line as heirs was also another reason for me to put it on hold. I wanted to watch it in its whole glory.

Then a friend recommended "I hear your voice" and after reading the synopsis i decided to give it a go and i was sucked in right after the first episode. I realized that it was exactly what i was looking for, no high school romance, strong female lead and low in angst as well

"I hear your voice" is a drama based on 18 episodes It is about a public defender Jang Hye Sung, who is a bold, sassy female lawyer. She is a prickly edge, sharp tongue who doesn't have a bit of concept or manners and finds it hard to be enthusiastic about what she does. The only reason why she has become a public defender is because it pays really well.

Meanwhile, Park Soo Ha

is a 19 years old boy who has the ability or superpower to read the people's minds.

Soo ha discovers his mind reading powers when he witness his father getting murdered when he was 8 years old initially dismissed as car accident case until Hye Sung who was then a 15 year old high school student gives a testimony in court as she is also a witness of the murder. The murderer Jung Woong-in is put to jail but before being taken away he threatens Hye Sung to kill her when he gets released, it is then soo ha vows to protect her.

Fast forward and now hye sung has become a public defender and soo haa is 19 year old high school student. Ever since his fathers murder soo haa has been looking for hye sung and now after many years he finally find hers. Soo haa also learns that Jung Woong-in has been realeased from jail and is looking for hye sung to kill her.

Since soo haa made a promise to hye sung that he will protect her, he befriends hye sung who doesn't recognize him and he starts living at her place. He also has a big crush on her and later realizes that he loves her

but hye sung only considers him as a friend, at least at the beginning and has no romantic feeling for him. Cha Kwan Woo is hye sung's colleague he is a serious, passionate and macho former police officer who becomes a government lawyer.

Together they will team up to solve the cases no one else wants, cases that only have a one percent chance of being found innocent.

I hear your voice is a  romantic comedy with a little bit of  angst. What did i expect? This is a Korean drama duh! I am 10 episodes in the show and i am already worried that it will end too soon.
I really love hye sung's chaarcter she's not a damsel in distress but is a strong sassy female lead with wit and humor.

I really really love her relationship with her mother as well and Hye sung and soo haa look really really good together. Even though they have 7, 8 years age difference, hye sung is older. I was really worried about that because i was not sure if they could pull this off but i was totally wrong THUMBS UP FOR keeping it interesting regardless of the age difference etc

they really look cute together and hye sung is herself in-front of soo haa. she does not has her guard up around him and since they share a history together It makes their relationship genuine and real

I've reached the episodes where hye sung has also started developing feelings for him.

Hye sung also shamelessly takes soo haa helps in solving her cases which is really funny but again she is not  perfect and that's the best thing about her.

Soo hoo on the other hand is completely aware of the dangers that hye sung faces and does everything in his power to help her but later he makes a promise to Hye sung to not to kill Jung Woong-in. Cha Kwan Woo on the other hand is really irritating at least in the initial episodes. He has a crush on hye sung on and is very determined to have her. They both date for a short a period

This drama is very unique in its own way and very very different from the heirs. I am completely hooked and i can't wait to watch the rest but at the same time i don't want it to end! Do you feel me?

I will write a detailed review on it once i complete the show.
